Mark Filipiuk, one of Go Freddie Go's original members, had to leave the
band in 1996 when he moved to Switzerland. Since then, he has played in
various groups in and around the Geneva area, including the Swing
Solicitors, J. Kirby's Band, and his own "Crazy Canadians" who play every
Thursday night at Mulligan's Irish Pub in Geneva. He has just released a
new CD called "It's Alright" using the name "Lawrence", his middle name,
instead of "Filipiuk" which nobody in Switzerland can pronounce or
remember.
